{ Low Hemoglobin }

Routine weekly blood test found my hemoglobin to be low again. My oncologist ordered another blood transfusion. This time we opted not to go to the ER. Instead, we rested at home and went to San Marcos for transfusion as an outpatient, on Thursday Jan 31. The transfusion lasted about four hours. My long time friends from high school were here visiting. They took me to my appointment and kept me company.

  1. Hello Pearl! It was so good to see you last weekend and your smile and spirit was such a joy to me! I know with Melody's health ordeals for 2.2 years it becomes a mental endurance in addition to the physical. But He is able to save to the uttermost those who come forward to Him! Keep on going. Winter will soon past and spring is coming soon! Brian Adamo

  2. Hi Pearl,
    Even though your hemoglobin count is low, I hope that the Christ is you is increasingly BOUNTIFUL. I really enjoyed this verse today and want to share it with you:
    "But thanks be to God, who ALWAYS leads us in triumph in the Christ and manifests the savor of the knowledge of Him through us in EVERY place". 2 Corinthians 2:14
    Pearl, we don't know why things happen to us they way they do, but let's give gracious thanks to God. A sister said to me today "He knows". The Lord knows how you feel. I believe and know that He will continue to lead you in triumph.
    Love, C.Y.

    To walk worthily of the Lord to please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and growing by the full knowledge of God,
    Being empowered with all power, according to the might of His glory, unto all endurance and long-suffering with joy." Colossians 1:9-11
