{ PET Scan and Injectable Chemotherapy }

Here is the latest update (10/20/2012):

Pearl will begin Injectable Chemotherapy at Kaiser in San Marcos, CA on October 24, 2012. This will be a 4 hour treatment on an outpatient basis. Then this will be followed up with pills for 2 more days. 

Pearl was also at the hospital on Thursday night.

Thursday night. Pearl went to the hospital as a precaution because she was vomiting blood with some food that she ate and she was feeling nauseous. After a long night at Kaiser, Pearl was discharged and arrived home around 3:30 AM Friday. 

Pearl also had a PET scan on Friday and will receive results next week.

Please Pray for Pearl's PET scan results and the injectable treatment next week. She will need a lot of endurance and encouragement during that time, as well as a good appetite after the treatment.
